Upon completion of this course, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of the issues associated with the process design of a facility and in developing “inherently safer” designs. Extensive case studies are offered that discuss incidents in the process industry that demonstrate how process design, management of change, and inadequate safeguards have all contributed to major accidents.
New graduates who wish to gain an understanding of practical process design safety issues and individuals who are managing and performing process design and process hazard evaluations or risk assessments for operating facilities or are coordinating project activities.
